EU Sovereign AI Inference

EU sovereign AI inference. Every dependency named.

Fast open-weight models on hardware we own in Munich. We show you where your data runs, who operates what, and which law applies - including what is not European yet.

  • Inference in Munich
  • Luxembourg company, no US parent
  • ISO 27001 certified
  • Up to 10x faster than GPUs

The Short Answer

Three questions, answered first

Where is my data processed?

On EU sovereign models, in our data center in Munich. Prompts and outputs are never written to disk.

Who can reach it?

Infercom is a Luxembourg company, controlled in Europe. Our US operating partner SambaNova has remote access to run the platform; the DPA names it.

Can I leave?

Yes. Open-weight models and an OpenAI-compatible API: you can take the same model elsewhere or run it yourself.

Compliance vs Sovereignty

Many providers are GDPR compliant. Fewer are sovereign.

What sovereignty protects

  • ControlYou decide what happens to your data and your workloads, not a party you cannot see or overrule.
  • TransparencyYou know where your data goes and who can touch it. You cannot control what you cannot see.
  • ContinuityYou keep running when a supplier, a model or a law changes, because you can replace what you lose.

No US Parent Company

The CLOUD Act reaches companies under US jurisdiction. Infercom is a Luxembourg company, controlled in Europe, with no US parent. Our operating partner SambaNova is a US company; its remote access is disclosed in our DPA.

AI Act

We support your AI Act work: which model runs, where it runs and under which terms, documented in the DPA and on the model pages.

Six Dimensions

Where we stand, dimension by dimension

Sovereignty is not a badge. It is six questions, each with its own answer. Here are ours, including what is not European yet.

Data

What you get
EU sovereign models run in our data center in Munich. Prompts and outputs are never written to disk.
Not European yet
Global catalog models run outside the EU, and are marked as such.
What we do about it
You choose per model. The DPA sets out the terms.

Operations

What you get
Our own racks, our contract with you, ISO 27001 certified.
Not European yet
SambaNova, a US company, operates the software stack with remote access.
What we do about it
Disclosed in the DPA. On-Premises puts operation in your hands.

Hardware

What you get
Our own hardware, not rented cloud capacity.
Not European yet
The chips come from SambaNova (US). Every AI chip used in Europe is designed outside the EU.
What we do about it
We choose the hardware per workload. The API stays the same when the hardware changes.

Models

What you get
Open-weight models you can inspect, move or run yourself.
Not European yet
Most leading open-weight models come from China and the US.
What we do about it
You choose the model and its origin. Nothing locks you in.

Law

What you get
A Luxembourg company, controlled in Europe, with no US parent.
What we do about it
We share the full control chain on request.

Economics

What you get
Your spend goes to a European company.

Models

Which models run where

You choose the location per request, by model id. EU sovereign models run in our data center in Munich. Global catalog models are processed outside the EU, in a region we do not control.

Performance

Sovereignty without giving up speed

Purpose-built AI chips keep the model's working data next to the compute, so answers come up to 10x faster than on GPU-based inference. SambaNova reports up to 5x better energy efficiency than a GPU.

FAQ

The hard questions

Your chips are American. How is that sovereign?

Every AI chip used in Europe is designed outside the EU. What decides control is who owns and runs the hardware and which law applies to the operator. We own the racks and choose the hardware per workload.

You run Chinese models. How is that sovereign?

Running open weights on our hardware in Munich is not running Chinese software or infrastructure. Nothing is sent to the model's maker. You choose the model, and you can switch at any time.

Who owns and controls Infercom?

Infercom SCS is a Luxembourg limited partnership, managed and controlled in Europe, with no US parent. Investors hold economic shares without management rights. We share the full control chain on request.

What if the US stops exporting AI chips?

Open-weight models keep you portable: you can run the same model elsewhere or yourself. We design for more than one hardware supplier.

Does anything go to the US?

On EU sovereign models, requests are processed in Munich and nothing is stored on disk. SambaNova, our US operating partner, has remote access to run the platform; the DPA discloses it. Global catalog models run outside the EU and are marked.

Is GDPR compliance not enough?

GDPR sets the rules for processing personal data. It does not stop a foreign law from reaching a provider under that country's jurisdiction. That is decided by who controls the provider, not by where the servers are.
